Fasten your seat belts, we’re about to take off!

Ignite Kids’ Ministry is a high energy place for kids to experience the Word of God, be creative, have fun, make friends, and learn how to love and live for Jesus Christ.

No matter what age, children will learn about Jesus. Whether through simple words to infants and toddlers, or bright and colorful pictures and crafts for preschoolers and kindergartners, or through multimedia competition and scripture memory for our elementary students, kids will have a chance to learn the way they learn best, by doing. Even our preteens have a place to call their own: The EDGE.

Weekends currently use programs through Gospel Light and Kidmo full of activities, memory verses, and much more.

IGNITE wants to partner with parents to raise up the next generation for Christ.

Instructors, mentors, greeters, and many other volunteers are ready to meet you and your kids and make church the place kids can’t wait to get to.

We offer nursery rooms for our little Rockers, Movers, and Shakers (Newborn - 3 years old ) as well as a Pre-School room for our Shining Stars (3 years old - Kindergarten).

During your infant's and toddler's time with us they will begin to experience God's love through the tender care of our volunteers.  Our rooms are staffed with nurturing volunteers ready to care for your child whether it's through holding, coloring, story telling, singing, or interactive play.    

Shining Stars

Our Pre-K class strengthens your child’s understanding of God’s love and how to share it!  During class, your child will enjoy story time in small groups exploring the Bible lesson of the weekend. Also, your child will enjoy snack time and a craft to reinforce the weekend lesson. Each weekend is filled with fun songs, crafts, story time, and lots of energy!

Wednesdays during the school year we offer the Awana Club and each summer, a specific program is selected to help kids enjoy their summer while still learning all they can about how to live for God. 

Young Heroes
Our Young Heroes 1st through 4th graders, at the Melbourne Campus, are now meeting in the Powerhouse Worship room. This is located next to the gym and across from the Wired Café. Check In takes place at the Powerhouse information booth 30 minutes prior to service time. During service children will experience interactive worship, large as well as small group teaching, and have a “connect time” to get to know their teachers and other friends.  

Young Heroes Incentives - As an encouragement for your child to bring new friends, their Bible, and Map Book to service they will be rewarded. For each of these mentioned your child will receive a ticket toward the series drawing. So this means kids have the opportunity to earn up to three prize tickets each week. Their prize tickets will go in a drawing that will occur at the end of every Kidmo series (about every 5 weeks). The prize is a $5 gift card for one of the following: The Chapel Book Store, Cold Stone Creamery, or Chick-Fil-A.  


Getting Involved

There are many opportunities to get connected in the CCM and CCMV IGNITE Kid's Ministry. If you have a love for children, a servant's heart, have been attending one of our campus'  for at least 6 months, and want to plant seeds for a path towards a relationship with Christ, then you might have what it takes to be a CCMV Kids Volunteer. Come join the fun! There's always room for more!
