CCM Worship Ministry Mission Statement

Our worship ministry coincides with the 5-part vision statement of CCM.
COMMUNICATE - the good news to everyone everywhere. We want to be obedient to the Word of God when we,“Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples” (1 Chronicles 16:24) and when we see what Christ has made us: “ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light”(1 Peter 2:9). On stage and off, we are communicating and demonstrating His presence to those who are all around us.
CONNECT - to others in personal vibrant relationships. We seek to establish a sense of community within each of our bands. We love spending time in the word, praying for one another, bearing one another’s burdens, sharing meals, and having fun times together. We have an incredible privilege and responsibility in the times we spend learning and rehearsing together for what we love to do most of all: worshiping our Lord, leading His people in worship, and getting to know those who we are leading in worship each and every week.
COMMIT - to be a growing follower of Christ. As we commit ourselves to Christ, we commit to do what He has called us to do with excellence. So in the worship ministry, we cultivate and employ the spiritual and musical gifts He has so graciously given to us to use for His Glory and His glory alone!!!
CELEBRATE - and live the fulfilling lifestyle. We love to celebrate! Every week, all week long- whether on stage during our mid-week or weekend services, or when at worship conferences or outreaches we do out in the community, we celebrate the love of Christ through the use of our gifts and talents.
CONTRIBUTE - your time, passion, talents and possessions. We have so much talent in our worship ministry. God has given freely to us and therefore we show our gratefulness to God by offering freely back to God what He has given us to serve Him with. After all isn’t that what worship is all about? So we offer up ourselves as living sacrifices to God as it says in Romans 12:1.
