New Believer's Bible

Although the Bible has been around for some time, the wisdom and knowledge it contains are still relevant today. In fact, everything you need to know about God and living a life that pleases him is found in the pages of the Bible. It is the “user’s manual” that we have all been searching for in our lives.

The New Believer’s New Testament Bible you received when you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is easy to use. It contains five reading tracks to help you get into God’s Word and start growing:

How You Can Know God – Learn how to establish a life-changing relationship with Jesus. (pg A11-21)

Cornerstones - Learn about God’s character, Jesus’ life and the Holy Spirit’s role in your life. Plus notes on Christian character traits such as love, forgiveness, wisdom, peace and joy. (pg A23-35)

First steps – What to do after you have accepted Christ. Discover the importance and “how-to” of studying the Bible, praying and seeking God’s will for you life. (pg A38-44)

Off and Running – How your faith affects the daily aspects of your life. Answers the question, “How does God’s Word apply to my life? “(pg A45-51)

Big Questions – Find out what the Bible has to say about some of life’s troubling issues. (pg A53)

You will also find several features that will help you understand the Bible better at the front and the back.  These features are:

23 Great Bible Stories – A list of Bible stories, where you can find them and the main lesson you can learn. (pg A54-57)

Memory Verses – Scripture memorization is a refreshing exercise that the Lord will use to bless your life. These key verses will encourage your spiritual growth and remind you of God’s promises as you journey through life. (pg A59-64)

How to Study the Bible – Answers to the questions, “How do I study the Bible? “Where do I begin reading?”  Also provides information you need to develop the basics of effective Bible study. (pg 349-351)

Helpful Topics to Investigate – A quick reference by topic with corresponding Scriptures. (pgs 352-365)

Prophecies about Jesus – A list of Old Testament prophecies about Jesus and the New Testament references that record His fulfillment of those prophecies.(pg 366-367)

Glossary of Christian Terms – A basic glossary of commonly used Christian words and phrases. Some definitions point you to areas of further study so that you can see how it applies to your life. (pg 369-379)

Colossians 3:16 says, Let the message about Christ, in all it’s richness, fill your lives.” Just as we need to continually breathe oxygen to survive, we need to regularly study the Bible to grow and flourish spiritually. Don’t let anything keep you from spending time each day in God’s Word!
