Calvary Chapel Home School Ministry

The Calvary Chapel Home School Ministry started with just a few parents who had been homeschooling their children and wanted to gather together for emotional and informational support.  They decided to group together and organize activities that would help provide support to one another.

CCHSM is a mixture of informal and formal activities.  The leadership team schedules formal events and classes for homeschooled students such as art and dance classes, the biography fair, a talent show, etc.  During these events, the children can learn or showcase their skills and activities throughout the school year.  It is also our intent that the children interact with one another to develop friendships.  Finally, we see the need for informal activities for parents to gather and discuss homeschool issues in a comfortable environment where questions can be asked and answered by various levels of homeschooling families.
