One to One Discipling:
"The last command Jesus gave His disciples was "Go and make disciples..." Matthew 28:18-20.
"Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good." 1 Peter 2:1-3.
If you are “like a newborn baby” in your relationship with Jesus Christ and really want to “grow up” and follow Him more closely, we have a wonderful opportunity to help you do just that. You can team up with a woman who will help you become grounded in your walk with Jesus Christ.
Foundations are essential to building any structure and the same is true of the Christian life. One-to-One Discipling consist of nine foundational building blocks for a lifelong journey of maturing in our Christian faith:
1. Assurance of Salvation
2. Attributes of God
3. The Bible
4. Prayer
5. The Spirit-Filled Life
6. Fellowship
7. Witnessing
8. Temptation
9. Obedience
This discipling program consists of meeting, usually once a week, using the Bible and a workbook, to study each of the above concepts their application to our daily life.
