Women's Bible Studies

“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”  Ephesians 4:11-13

Studying God’s Word helps us to “grow up in Christ”.  We offer a variety of Women’s Bible Studies on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 9:30 am & 7:00 pm, The classes or “Small Groups”  make a big church seem small.  They cover a variety of topics from studying the basics, like “How to Study the Bible”, to in-depth inductive Bible studies like “Precepts” by Kay Arthur.  The bulk of these are offered twice a year, in the Fall from August—November & the Spring from February – May, but there are additional studies throughout the year announced in the bulletin and on this website.  Classes generally consist of a class teaching either by DVD or the class leader, discussing what you’ve heard, and following up with your own home study using your Bible and a workbook.

Check out our Small Groups page for a list of current studies!

Through these studies, you’ll grow spiritually and you’ll make life-long friendships with Christian women who can pray with you when you’re down and celebrate with you when you’re up. The only cost involved is the purchase of a book and/or workbook for your class. Sign up for classes at the Women’s Table in the Commons before and after services, or call the main church office 321.952.9673.
