What: Homeless Ministry Donations Needed
When: 1st Saturday of each month
Where: CCM Judah House (south end of the parking lot)
Time: 8am-noon
It’s very easy to look the other way when we see the homeless. Like the lost son, some have made bad decisions, like the lost sheep, some have just wandered away and like the lost coin, someone else has displaced them. While we here at Calvary Chapel Melbourne are unable to solve the larger problem of homelessness itself, we can all help in other smaller ways.
If you would like to help care for the physical needs of those who find themselves out on the streets with very little sense of hope or direction, then we invite you to help us display God’s love and provide for the needs of the homeless. We will be collecting food & other items listed below the first Saturday of each month, from 8am-noon at the Judah House located at the south end of the parking lot.
Please remember most of these people do not have the luxuries of home like can openers, pantries and stove tops. With that in mind, please avoid items like uncooked pasta, large boxed cereals etc. Look for ‘Buy One Get One Free’ items and local coupons to help keep this budget friendly for everyone! Your participation is greatly appreciated and will be blessing more lives than you could possibly imagine.
