Streaming Help

What about my mobile device? Can I view the broadcast on there as well?

There are 2 mobile phone devices we currently support - iPhone and Android devices. To access our mobile streaming services, head to our home page on your mobile device; you'll be redirected to our mobile site. Click on the live streaming option when it becomes available and get ready to watch the service!

Can I watch on my iPad?

Yes! Just navigate to our live streaming page just as you would do it on a desktop computer. There are 2 streaming options for iPad users - video and audio only.

I can't get the live service working on my Android device. What's the deal?

Due to the nature of the Android platform, the end user experience can be very different from one phone or tablet to another. Some carriers block or limit certain type of network traffic, which can disable or limit the ability to watch our services live. At the moment, it's beyond our capability to be able to test every Android device our there, and we apologize if you can't watch the service on your phone. We are currently working on a solution to get this working on any Android device, regardless of manufacturer or carrier. So stay tuned!

Why are there so many streaming options? Which one should I choose?

With the many platform and browser combinations in existence today, we do our best to provide something that everyone can use, no matter where in the world they're viewing our services, and no matter what technology they're viewing it on. There are 2 main media players we provide - Flash and Silverlight. On most hi-speed internet connections, any of the media players are capable. If you're on a slower connection, try our Flash Media Player Low option, or the Flash Player Audio Only option.

Why does the Silverlight Player have different controls?

The Silverlight media player we use now has DVR-like capabilities - you can pause the live feed, and hit play whenever you're ready, and you won't miss anything. If you missed something, you can go back by pressing and holding the rewind button and the media player will continue to record the live feed. Press the "Go Live" button if you want to catch up to wherever the live feed is at the moment.

I can't see the service - what do I do?

Chances are we're aware of the problem and we're already on our way to fixing it, as we monitor every service we broadcast over the internet. If, however, you feel the need to send us a note to let us know the problem, head over to our contact us section and select the tech support option.

I know the streaming is working but it won't work on my computer

It's possible something on your computer is blocking the live broadcast (i.e. your firewall), or something on the network your using is blocking it (i.e. your trying to view the service on a govt. network). Anti-virus software can also cause this to happen. Send us a note about the problem you're experiencing and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

What happened to the Windows Media Player?

Due to the low volume of traffic the player received on a weekly basis, we decided to no longer support it. We apologize if this has caused any inconvenience and we encourage everyone to try our other media players.
