When Faith Becomes Owned

In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth and the heavens are the work of your hands. (Psalm 102:25.) The world has come a long way since God laid the foundation. A vast amount of knowledge is displayed in our constantly evolving day and age. Creativity and invention make our systems more efficient and our lives more sophisticated. Yet life without God results in emptiness and unfulfillment-there really is no life ‘outside of God’. He was from the very beginning and is the source and sustainer of life!

Every life is precious, created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27) and unique in every way. We align with God’s plans and purposes for us, only when we have a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Those plans are for good, to give us hope and a future, for God’s own glory. The big question is: how do we ‘tap’ into God’s plans, follow the right path and take the right steps? His Word is full of wisdom, which is the key to doing life right.

The choices we make not only affect our lives, but also impacts the lives and choices of our children and others around us. If children are instructed and taught in the right way to go, they will not depart from it and make right choices (Proverbs 22:6).

Living in obedience to God’s Word does not come without challenges and obstacles. There’s a constant battle with the flesh and its desires, but you are more than an overcomer through Christ Who gives us strength. To be a Godly influence and make bold footprints in our Christian walk, it is imperative to be rooted and grounded in God’s Word, paying attention to every detail. For how can we teach what we don’t know or reflect what we are not? Trust God to faithfully instruct and teach you in the way to go, daily walk in truth and make your life an open book reflecting His grace.
