Here at Calvary, we have a heart for our kids and aim to provide an environment in which kids can learn about God on their level. While the adults worship and learn, the kids are being taught biblical truth that will stay with them forever. Each service, kids excitedly enter Calvary looking forward to seeing the new friends they made the week before, learning new dance moves during worship, seeing their favorite Bible stories brought to life through fun skits, and of course, playing dodgeball at game time. With high-energy worship, fun games and crafts, and dynamic biblical teachings, kids have a great time while learning how to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
We love our littlest ones and have a heart for caring for your children so that you can enjoy service without any worries. We provide a safe place for your child to laugh and have fun as they are cared for by our amazing volunteers.
We believe in starting off kids early when it comes to learning about Jesus. That's why our preschool and kindergartners will hear Bible stories, sing songs about who God is, and memorize scripture to keep their mind fixed on the promises of God.
Our heart for all our kids is that they would come to know Jesus as their personal savior, which is why we show the love of Christ in everything we say and do. Our Young Heroes are always watching and listening as they are growing deeper in their understanding of who God is.
In the Edge, we focus on arming your kids with the weapons needed to fight for their faith every day, whether at school, at the skate park, or at home. Through small groups and discussion, our 5th and 6th graders begin to learn what it means to act out your faith and encourage one another in your walk with Jesus.
Kids' Ministry is available for all services at our Melbourne Campus. It is made up of four age groups to provide your child with the best experience possible. Classes for all children preschool and older meet in the Kids' Building (K Building), with our infants and toddlers meeting in the A Building just off the Commons. No matter where you end up, one of our friendly volunteers will be happy to serve you and help you get your kids settled into the right classroom.
Kids' Ministry is available for all services at our Viera Campus. Classes are provided for different age groups to give your child the best experience possible. When you check-in at the Kids' Counter in the Commons, our friendly volunteers will be happy to serve you and help get your kids settled into the right classroom.

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. AWANA is an engaging curriculum where kids are excited to dive into scripture each week while eagerly listening to Bible lessons, memorizing verses, and worshiping God together. As they play during game time, build relationships in groups, and receive encouragement through awards, God's Word will be planted deeper and deeper into the soil of their young hearts. Throughout the year, we have fun nights, which allow the kids to dress wearing silly hats, collect canned goods for local organizations, and learn more about missions. AWANA is offered at both our Melbourne and Viera locations during the school year from September through May.
Our Special Needs Ministry is designed specifically to help introduce your child to Christ in a loving environment and at an appropriate level for your child to learn and understand. While your child is in Kids' Ministry, you will be able to attend the church service without worry because your child will be cared for by loving teachers trained in the basics in caring for special needs children.
The classroom setting is open and very flexible. We have numerous items to stimulate and educate at the same time. We try to keep our teacher to student ratios low so that each child can get all the personal attention they need. Each child has different needs, and we do our best to address them individually. Our teachers are not experts, but they make up for it in love and prayer for your child. Their great desire is to teach your child about the love of Jesus.
At our Melbourne campus, we currently offer a Kids' Special Needs and a Teen/Adult Special Needs class during the 10:45am Sunday service.
