Those opportunities denoted with a M, V, or S are available only at the Melbourne, Viera, or Sebastian campus respectively. All other opportunities are available at all campuses.
Altar Counseling - After each service, encourage new believers and those rededicating their lives to Christ with a prayer and providing them with a Bible and other literature to equip them in their next steps of faith.
Art/Set Team (M) - This group includes artists, carpenters, and painters who use thier creativity and talents to design and create sets used for events, services, and seasonal decoration.
Asian Ministry (M) - The Asian Ministry is a vibrant and thriving ministry that is building cross-cultural bridges locally and beyond by bringing the gospel of Jesus to the Asian community. Opportunities are available for Chinese Mandarin speakers to translate our Saturday evening service. Hosts and facilitators are needed for our growing offsite groups. Outreach opportunities are also available through participation in various outreach events and the annual Christmas party and Memorial Day picnic where our Asian community is invited.
AWANA Team (M, V) - AWANA is an engaging and fun curriculum where kids are excited to dive into scripture each week. AWANA takes place each Wednesday evening from September through May. There are various volunteer opportunities available.
BBQ Team (M, V) - Our BBQ Team has many oppotunities for you to use great food as a means to bring the love of Jesus to the community.
The Melbourne Burnt Offerings BBQ Team is famous in our community and is a popular and effective outreach opportunity. Volunteers help with food preparation for both outreach and church events as well as serving BBQ at local football home games.
The Viera Pit Crew help with church related events and services.
Commons Grounds Cafe (M, V) - We have volunteer opportunities to cashier, serve a meal or clear tables before, during and after services as well as during the week.
Deaf ASL Translation Team (M) - If you know ASL, join our team of translators who interpret our Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:30am services to the Deaf and hard of hearing using American Sign Language (ASL).
Divorce Care (M, V) - Men or women are needed to facilitate a Divorce Care small group using a DVD based program featuring some of the best Christian leaders in the country. Training is provided.
Financial Peace University - If you have participated in Financial Peace University(FPU) and would like to share this life changing program with others, there are opportunities for facilitators for future FPU classes.
First-Aid Team - If you are licensed in the medical field, or are CPR/First Aid/AED certified and would like to share your skills with those in need of medical assistance during services or events, consider being part of our First Aid team.
Grief Share (M. V)- This vital ministry makes real differences in people’s lives as they work through their grief from the loss of a loved one. Opportunities are available for small group facilitators using a DVD based program featuring some of the top Christian leaders in the country. Training is provided.
Guest Services Team - God’s heart is for people an His passion for others can be ignited within us. If you feel your purpose lies in serving people, we have a place for you. Our team includes greeters, ushers and others you see serving in and around the Commons and Sanctuary.
Hands of Love Team (M) - Hands of Love is a ministry of men and women who are reaching beyond the walls of the church through canned food drives (One Can U Can) and supplying canned food to children in need at public school who may not have food over the weekend. We also support local ministries who care for the homeless and do relational outreaches in the community to connect people to Christ.
Homeschool Team (M) - Opportunities are available to teach a Homeschool class on Fridays six times per semester. Topics can be anything that is fun and educational; i.e., foreign language, knitting, geography, etc. Grade levels are K-2nd, 3-5th and 6th grade and up.
Hospital Visitation - Be a part of teams of two who encourage and pray with those in our Calvary family who are hospitalized.
Hospitality Team (M, V) - Opportunities are available for those who enjoy to baking to prepare and serve refreshments for numerous events throughout the year and for our church visitors at New2Calvary.
Ignite Kids' Team - From changing diapers to changing lives, feeding babies a bottle to feeding young minds the Word of God. Come alongside the little ones who are just beginning to explore the world God created! Join us in serving them (and their parents) and experience the joy that flows from sharing your love, and the love of our Savior, with a child. Training is provided.
Ignite Kids' Tech Team (M) - Volunteer opportunities for both adults and kids grade 6 and older to help with the production and sound for our fun and exciting kids’ services.
IT - Technical Support Team (M) - Are you gifted with IT Technical support skills? Be a part of our IT team and use your specialized skills, gifts and talents. We support over 200 computers across the campuses as well as other ministries through technology.
Marriage Ministry Team - Help couples thrive in their marriage by facilitating small groups and/or assist with Marriage Ministry events.
Ministerio Hispano Team (M) - Volunteers are needed for service translation and interpretation, worship, Guest Services, mission trips and local evangelistic events. All these opportunities are available in both English and Spanish.

Men's Ministry Team - Opportunities are available for the Men’s First Impressions Team for greeters during men’s events and Tuesday night series.
New2Calvary Team - Do people say you’re warm, friendly, and kind? The New2Calvary team greets visitors after services in the New2Calvary area and tells them about Calvary and ways the church can minister to them and their family.
Offsite Group Facilitator - Opportunities are available for men and women to facilitate an offsite group. The groups range from discussing scriptures from the weekend teaching or conducting Bible studies. They meet in homes and various locations throughout the community. Facilitator training is provided to help our leaders cultivate a welcoming and safe environment where people can grow in their relationships with others and Jesus.
Outreach Ministry - Outreach has a number of opportunities to bring the gospel of Jesus to our community.
The Mission Compassion Team ministers to seniors in nursing homes and assisted living facilities through simple church services and Bible studies. Opportunities area available for teachers, musicians and anyone who has compassion for our elderly.
Face Painters, Balloon Twisters, and Puppeteers – these teams ministers to children through fun and creative avenues at various outreach events. Training is provided.
Evangelism Team – share your faith with our team of specially trained evangelists who share the gospel throughout the community at bus stops, beaches, courthouses, college campuses and other locations locally. Spiritual conversations begin as easily as offering someone a cold bottle of water or a gospel tract. Training is provided.
Parking Team (M, S) - Our team serves as the first impression for those coming to Calvary by welcoming people on the property and by providing a safe and efficient parking experience.
Photography Ministry - Use your creative eye to photograph the everyday happenings at our campuses. From services to special events you’ll have the opportunity to use your photography skills to capture pictures to be used on social media, the web, and other forms of communication.
Prayer Partners - These are husband and wife teams who pray with people before and after services.
Prison Ministry - Our Prison Ministry has a number of opportunities available to minister to those encarcerated in local correctional facilities.
Visitation Team – brings the Gospel to inmates at Florida jails and prisons through services and other events.
Pen Pal Team – This team responds to letters from incarcerated men and women providing biblical encouragement and touches the lives of the lost and lonely with the love of Christ. No personal information is exchanged, and your anonymity is protected.
Production Team - As a volunteer on our Production Team, you will have the opportunity to facilitate the church’s mission by identifying and creatively fulfilling the technical needs of diverse ministries. In the areas of live sound, lighting, running cameras and lyrics for various church services and events.
Ready Reserves Team (M) - This group of men use their skills and talents in a variety of areas and projects at the church including set construction, set up and tear down, and other miscellaneous ministry projects.
Safety Ministry - Do you have a heart to help people and desire to protect the flock? Do you have a law enforcement, security or military background? Sign up and see if the Safety team can use your skills, gifts and talents for the Lord.
Watermark Christian Store (M, V)- Share your love of books with others or perhaps help someone find the perfect gift for a friend. At Watermark Christian Store, we have a passion for the faith-based items we sell and enjoy directing people to find something to fit their need. It may be a CD with a favorite worship song, a Bible for a new believer, a book for an upcoming study or a gift for a special occasion. We would love to have you help with our mission of leaving the mark of Christ through our products and service.
Women's Ministry - Be a part of our team providing support at women’s events throughout the year. If you have office skills, opportunities are also available in office administration.
Worship Team - The worship team includes musicians, vocalists, choir, and orchestra. Auditions may be required.
Y.O.U (Youth Outreach Unleashed) Team (M) - This after-school program provides a safe place for students from our public schools to hang out during the week with open gym, game room, events and a snack shop. Volunteer leaders enhance the atmosphere with engaging open approach to ministry. Students identify with their genuine nature and feel secure enough to talk, share and ask questions which often lead to a permanent bond with these adult mentors.
Young Adults Team (M, V)- This vibrant and active ministry for 20-30 year old adults has opportunities for both younger and older mentors.
