Why should I volunteer?

If not for our volunteers, we wouldn't be able to do half of what we're currently able to accomplish because of them. From those helping direct cars in the parking lot, managing the cameras during service, to caring for your kids, none of it could happen without volunteers. Have a heart for ministering to those in need? Check out our Hospital Visitation Team. Are you a people-person and outgoing? Then our Guest Services Team might be the perfect place for you. Just like our bodies are made up of multiple parts, your talents and abilities are needed to fulfill God's mission for the church.

Being a Christ Follower means that you follow Christ and the example He gave us. Jesus served, so we should serve. It's really that simple. God has equipped each person with unique gifts and talents. As you actively serve Christ, you get the privilege of seeing Him at work in our community, and you get to be a part of the change! What's better than that?

Not sure what spiritual gifts God has given you? Take the Spiritual Gifts test below to see how God has gifted you to serve people and the church.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is an independent website. Be sure to record your top three gifts and call Steve (the volunteer guy) with your results or email him at volunteer@calvaryccm.com

Steve, the volunteer guy

Meet Steve, our volunteer guy!

Steve is like the human version of the energizer bunny. He wears many hats, but nothing makes him more excited than seeing people step out and grow in their walk with Christ. Whether it's getting you connected in a ministry in need of help, helping you discover your spiritual gifts, or assisting you in completing your volunteer application, Steve is always ready to help.

What you'll need while completing your volunteer application:

  • A digital photo of yourself so we can put a face with a name.
